New: Eco Moss
Eco moss, Reindeer moss walls.
This is reindeer moss but with the side in the background instead of with the balls up.
So we use almost the entire plant of moss.
The effect is a sturdy moss wall with lots of relief and movement.
If your customer wants something different, then this is absolutely great.
Can be made in 1 color, but a nice mix can also be made.
Patterns are less suitable for these moss walls.
Environmentally friendly working
At Metiez, we want to work as environmentally friendly and efficiently as possible. All our moss grows naturally and is harvested under government supervision. Throughout the entire process, we try to work responsibly.
Always with respect for nature.
The moss is colored and treated with nature-friendly substances. The adhesives we use are also made from natural materials.
Reindeer moss is stapled with around 3,000 staples per m². We are still looking for a better solution for this.

A MossDivider or other moss creation is also a useful indicator. It can show the humidity level in a room.
Restoring healthy humidity is important for people’s wellbeing and health. Especially for people spending time in these spaces.
Tip:
In general, relative humidity between 30% and 70% feels comfortable. The challenge is that humidity is always relative.
Our moss can become stiff, dry, and sensitive to touch. This happens when the humidity level is too low.
This is not ideal for anyone staying in the room. It may also cause health issues.
Please do not touch the moss during this time. It can become damaged more easily.
Once the humidity is restored, the moss becomes soft again.It will feel elastic, fluffy, and natural again.

Our moss has a lifespan of at least 10 years. As long as it avoids bright sunlight and moisture. The moss requires no maintenance at all. No water, light, pruning, or care is needed. This can save on monthly maintenance costs. Employees also never have to think about plant care. Being surrounded by nature helps people feel better.
