I am Anja, founder of Metiez. Together with my husband Hans, I run Metiez in Wamel. For over eight years, we have created unique moss artworks. We love greenery, atmosphere, and a perfect finish. My eye for detail comes from the cosmetics world.I worked there for over thirty years.

Today, you see that same precision in our moss creations. Together with our warm team, we create everything with care. Every project is instantly green and completely finished. Happy clients make every day special.

Hans

Hans Westerduin is the green force behind Metiez. Together with his wife Anja, he runs Metiez with passion. His green journey started in the military. There he learned discipline, planning, and staying calm under pressure.

Sports have always played a huge role in his life. From football and rugby to boxing, golf, and American football. Later, Hans worked for companies like Wolters Kluwer, Kingspan, and Mobilane. There he gained extensive experience in business, greenery, and innovation. From the Netherlands, he also helped build Suiteplants in America.
There he created valuable client relationships and international experience. When Anja introduced moss, Hans first laughed: “Moss? Really?” But moss became stylish, popular, and surprisingly luxurious.
